“Inner Self refers to the overlapping images obtained through the double exposure of the same film, reinserted into the camera with precise alignment. The concept of “Inner Self” implies delving deeper into oneself or exploring one’s innermost being. The profile, as the fundamental form, serves as the basis for the emergence of the same face once again, but with a distinct and characteristic expression. Sometimes, the profile may also feature objects associated with the subject, such as their books or work tools.” Paolo Buzi
