This artwork, unquestionably denunciatory and rich in ancestral symbolism, depicts a world – the Western world – already abandoned by humans, where nature – represented by the sand – reclaims its space by covering the Palace of Westminster, the seat of the British Parliament. In a ghostly atmosphere, a fighter jet is being engulfed and diverted by the suspended souls of the human beings it has annihilated in war.
